Useful Tip :
Large airports are more busy and congested as compared to the small airports where you can easily get through the security checks, and you will find it easier to park your car. Although small airports do not have the same amenities as larger airports, they are easily approachable and you will find it easy move around. Moreover, the terminal area is just a few yards from the parking lot and there is plenty of space for parking.
Travel tips for Holiday season
Holiday season is round the corner and it is time to get together. Most of us will be traveling or vacationing with our families at this time of the year. Week after week the airports are getting more crowded and the traffic is getting heavier. Arrive at the airport on time - domestic travelers should reach the airport two hours before the departure and international travelers should make it three to four hours in advance. The Transportation Security Administration has already predicted that due to considerably huge number of people traveling during this peak time, there are more chances of your luggage getting delayed or lost. To avoid this, you should reach the airport on time and unwrap all of your gifts so it is easier to check them. Most importantly, pack neatly in layers so that you can easily get through the security check checkpoint. Remember, more clutter means more delay.

Another important tip for packing lighter is to ship your gifts in advance, preferably two to three weeks before your travel date. Moreover, check for flight delays in advance. Many airlines provide this information on their own site. If possible, avoid traveling on peak days, book flights two days before Christmas or on the day of Christmas. Chances are that you might get an emptier flight at better prices. Keeping your traveling schedule flexible can help you save big money. If you book your trip Christmas week, you have better chances of getting the cheaper vacation deal. Last but not the least, buy yourself travel insurance as there is greater risk of your flight getting canceled or the luggage being lost or delayed. Keep a positive attitude, but be prepared for setbacks!
